Terms of Use

Welcome to Moon Astrology, an astrology guidance app published by Magic Unicorn Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using Moon Astrology (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Entertainment and self-reflection only

Moon Astrology is provided for entertainment and self-reflection. Its readings, guidance, chat responses, and other content are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such. The App is not a substitute for professional help.

Astrological content is inherently subjective and is offered to encourage reflection, not to predict the future or determine your choices. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in the App. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take.

2. Who can use the App

The App is not directed to children under 13, and you may not use it if you are under 13. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements and can form a binding agreement.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Moon Astrology offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Moon Astrology+, available in weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. Subscription pricing is shown in the App before you purchase.

Billed via Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store; we never receive your payment details.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trial. The monthly and yearly plans include a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Managing or cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.

4. Apple standard license terms (EULA)

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Unless we provide a custom end-user license agreement, your license to use the App is the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms of Use are in addition to that agreement; if there is a conflict about the license to the App, the Apple EULA governs. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and is not a party to these Terms, and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries with the right to enforce the Apple EULA against you.

5. Acceptable use

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
submit content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, or infringing;
attempt to probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or the AI services we use;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law;
use automated means to access the App or to generate excessive requests; or
misuse AI-generated output, or present it as professional advice to others.

We may suspend or limit access to the App or its features if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are misusing the service.

6. AI-generated content

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate text and audio based on the question you submit and a summary of your chart. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent, and does not represent facts about you or your future. Treat all output as entertainment and reflection, and see our Privacy Policy for how this data is processed.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Magic Unicorn Inc. or its licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or reading is accurate or reliable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magic Unicorn Inc. and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App or any content in it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms at this address. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing terms

These Terms, together with the Apple EULA and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
