Makeapp
Makeapp is a natural-first photo editor: fix what bothers you in a photo, like tired eyes or a blemish, and add makeup that looks real, so nobody can tell it was edited. Every edit happens instantly on your iPhone.
Questions, problems, purchase help or feedback are all welcome. If you are reporting a problem, please include your iPhone model, your iOS version and the app version shown in the app's Settings.
Yes. You can open a photo and try every effect in the editor for free. Saving, sharing and the before-and-after picture need Makeapp Pro.
Unlimited edits and exports, as a monthly or yearly subscription. There are no edit counts and no credits. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Edit packs are no longer sold. If you bought one before 7.0, it unlocks Makeapp Pro's unlimited edits in 7.0 and later on the Apple Account that bought it (if it does not show, open Settings → Restore purchases). Versions before 7.0 keep counting its edits.
They are off for now: they are not ready to run on your phone yet, and they will return.
Makeapp works best with a clear, well-lit photo of one face looking toward the camera. If it can't find a face, try another photo.
Open Settings → Restore purchases in Makeapp while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. Your subscription comes back, and so do earlier Makeapp purchases that include Pro.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account. Open Settings → Manage subscription in Makeapp, or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period; you keep your plan until the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Nowhere. In Makeapp 7.0 and later every edit is made on your iPhone and your photos never leave it. Makeapp has no accounts, no ads and no tracking across other apps, and we never sell your data. Versions before 7.0 sent the photo to our server and to AI providers to make the edit; the details are in our Privacy Policy.
No photos and no information about the faces in them. For purchase analytics the app uses RevenueCat and, only if you choose "Allow analytics" on the app's privacy screen (you can change it any time in Settings → Privacy choices), Amplitude for usage analytics; they receive an analytics identifier, never your photos or your installation ID, and no advertising identifiers. We also receive the feedback you choose to send. We never sell your data. Everything is listed in our Privacy Policy.
Your photos, results and edit history are only on your iPhone: delete edits in the app, or delete the app. To have us ask Amplitude and RevenueCat to delete the analytics data linked to your installation, or to delete what our server kept if you used a version before 7.0, email support@magicunicorninc.com (include the support code shown in the app's Settings, if there is one).
Only photos of other adults who have agreed to it, and never photos of anyone under 18. See our Terms of Use.
